Biography

Ana Hory is a global P&L executive, operating partner, and board advisor who helps founder-led, PE-backed, and established consumer businesses translate ambition into profitable, scalable growth. She brings more than 25 years of leadership across consumer products, food, toys, baby, technology, and health & wellness, working with businesses from early-stage ventures to global, multibillion-dollar organizations.

Ana is particularly effective where a company needs both a strategic thinker and a hands-on integrator: someone who can clarify the growth agenda, strengthen the operating model, align cross-functional teams, and convert plans into measurable results. She has led businesses and business units from approximately $20 million to more than $250 million in revenue, driving market entry, portfolio transformation, omnichannel expansion, margin improvement, innovation, and team performance.

Value creation and P&L leadership

As a President, GM, CEO, and Global Business Head, Ana has owned complex P&Ls and made the trade-offs that drive sustainable value creation: growth versus margin, innovation versus complexity, and near-term execution versus long-term capability building.

At Belkin, she transformed a $250 million business unit by reducing SKUs by 60% and improving EBITDA by 9 percentage points in her first year. She also built stronger planning disciplines and high-performing teams that improved contribution margins by 15–20 percentage points on average.

At b.box for kids, a PE-backed juvenile-products company, Ana established the U.S. business, created the go-to-market and operating infrastructure, strengthened financial controls, and improved budgeted margin by 9 percentage points. She drove 2.6x year-over-year e-commerce growth and 3.5x Amazon growth by improving assortment, pricing, inventory availability, customer experience, and channel execution.

Growth, transformation, and execution

Ana partners with leaders to create a practical path through growth, change, and complexity. Whether launching a business in a new geography, resetting a portfolio, improving profitability, or modernizing customer-facing capabilities, she combines consumer insight, analytical rigor, and decisive execution.

Through Enlucem, Ana serves as a fractional COO and operating partner to visionary, founder-led companies. She acts as a second-in-command and integrator, turning founder vision into an aligned operating plan, clear priorities, and weekly execution rhythms that improve accountability, focus, and decision speed.

Previously, as leader of Element of Choice, she helped scale a doctor-formulated health and wellness business from launch to $9.8 million in e-commerce sales. She built its Shopify experience and data-driven growth engine, achieving a $100 average order value, promotional conversion rates of up to 7%, and a reduction in cart abandonment from 64% to 35%.

Product, consumer, and digital leadership

Ana brings a distinctive combination of product innovation, consumer understanding, and commercial discipline. Her career includes launching category-defining consumer products and experiences across global markets, from Belkin’s form-fitted iPad keyboard, which generated $25 million in sales and achieved a Net Promoter Score of 65, to product and brand work at Mattel, MEG Toys, Kellogg’s, and Unilever.

She applies AI, data, and digital tools where they create meaningful business impact: improving consumer experiences, accelerating decision-making, reducing friction, strengthening personalization, and building more scalable ways of working. At b.box, for example, she used AI-enabled personalization, analytics, mobile optimization, and real-time support to strengthen conversion and customer experience.

Board and operating-partner perspective

Ana brings an owner’s mindset to boards, founders, and investment partners. Her focus includes growth strategy, P&L and cash-flow discipline, portfolio prioritization, digital and AI transformation, talent, succession, and governance. She is an accredited board director, currently serves as a Board Observer at StyleRow, and advises Halogen Ventures and its portfolio founders on scaling, transformation, AI adoption, and team-building. Her board education includes programs through UCLA Anderson and Harvard Business School.

Known for combining high standards with empathy, Ana builds teams and partnerships grounded in clarity, trust, accountability, and shared ownership. As Belkin CEO Chet Pipkin described her, she is “creative, organized, and disciplined” and “a great builder of teams and staff.” Her leadership philosophy is straightforward: create enduring value for the business, its people, its customers, and its stakeholders, so growth is not only faster, but healthier and more durable.
